Field Service Manager – Fuel Systems – Ashburn, VA
Responsibilities:
- Manage service team performing installation and maintenance of fuel system components along with upgrades and consulting support of new customers
- Implement new SCR (selective catalytic reduction) start up services
- Ensure testing of electrical equipment are properly followed – EPS, ETS, CAD, and SCRs – electrical power systems, electrical testing systems, etc.
- Align with and maintain quality standards such as ISO 9000 and ISO 9001
- Implement mechanical and control systems projects
- Compliance testing – DEQ – UST Compliance, ATG testing, SCR Testing
- Manage Customer relationships to help grow add on services / keep the customer happy while increasing revenue
- Grow the business with both existing customers and future customers
- Manage, hire and mentor staff of Service Techs
- Coordinate schedule for all site visits
- Serve as the point of contact for the client
- Support the sales team by serving as the technical subject matter expert on critical fuel equipment and solutions
- Create and modify installation and maintenance operational procedures for equipment
- Assist with any Business Development as needed
Qualifications:
- BS – ME or EE ;Technical degree a plus
- Relevant work experience in Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical or Fuel – 4-8 yrs a must
- Minimum of 3-5 yrs of team leadership / management in field services supporting electrical, mechanical, HVAC, Fuel, Controls or building facility services
- Experience with Fuel equipment within a data center critical facility environment a plus
- Extensive knowledge of diesel fuel related products and services such as controls, mechanical, and SCR (Pollution Controls / Reduction Systems)
- Previous experience managing or leading a service team.
- Requires excellent verbal, written communication skills & customer relations skills
- Must be able to provide high level of quality customer service
- Requires knowledge of equipment manufacturer’s specifications
- Business Development Experience
- Must be able to provide necessary pro-active recommendations to clients
- Previous experience in the Military / Military veterans in all branches that have experience with Electrical / Mechanical is a huge plus (Navy nukes- EMN, ETN, MMNs, SeaBees, Army – Power Generation, Air Force – Power Production, Generator Techs, Maritime, Coast Guard, etc.)
